ANTICIPATED CASHIER/SERVER
Anticipated Part-time Cashier/Server
(2.5 hours per day)
Lakewood Middle School
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or training and experience that are considered equivalent.
- A proficiency in the accurate handling of money.
- Knowledge of math and basic accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Cash register and a knowledge of using the district automated food purchase program.
- The ability to communicate in a courteous manner.
- Good organizational skills.
- A neat appearance.
- Successfully complete and pass a BCII and FBI check.
REPORTS TO/EVALUATED BY: Head Cook/Director of Food Services
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs the task of operating a cash register.
- Operate the district automated food purchase program.
- Maintain confidentiality of students receiving free or reduced food.
- Keep proper records and submit all documents as requested.
- Accountable for all money received from food sales in assigned building.
- Collect all deposits and make up daily bank deposit and slip and prepare deposits for District Cashier.
- Distribute lunch tickets where applicable.
- Assist cooks when needed.
- Any other reasonable or related duties as assigned by the Director of Food Services.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Remainder of the 2025-2026 school year
- 5 days/week, 2.5 hours/day
- Salary as per negotiated agreement (LACE)
