The mission of the Newark-Granville Symphony is to enhance the quality of life in Licking County by presenting highest-quality performances of classical and popular music, and offering educational and community programs to further the understanding and enjoyment of that music. The NGSO is an all professional symphony orchestra keeping the 75 year old tradition of symphonic music in Licking County and includes 2 student orchestras the NGYS and NGCS offering education to students in grades 4-12.
