Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Seeking an experienced sourcing manager who is responsible for sourcing and qualification of vendors, along with bringing product innovations, concepts, and practices to reality. This role will implement sourcing strategies that will enhance profitability, inventory, quality and customer satisfaction levels. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Source, qualify and develop new vendors to ensure key partnerships for future growth
Manage supplier production launch schedule and provide oversight to overall project schedule, raising constraints and timing issues with the project team as necessary
Apply comprehensive in-depth understanding of purchasing, fulfillment, and sourcing concepts in order to help drive supplier performance to aggressive schedules
Work closely with the supply chain team to monitor, schedule and delivery of new launches
Assist in the continuous improvement of the procurement function towards best practice and value adding opportunities from the supply chain
Investigate and understand global supply options and transportation for area of responsibility
Ability to coordinate and evaluate supplier quotations, design changes, costs, and timelines
Implement cost reduction projects to help decrease the total cost of our products while maintaining customer satisfaction and quality

Able to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong computer skills, including inventory management systems
Proven analytical and organizational ability
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum of 3-5 years supply chain and/or sourcing experience
Minimum of 3 years experience working within an MRP environment, SAP preferred PRE HIRE
TRAINING REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree
Supply Chain experience EMPLOYEE TRAINING REQUIRED
