QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Ohio Educational Aide permit
- Must complete paraprofessional requirements
- Proper certification in First Aid and CPR
- Willing to participate in district in-service training
- Neat appearance
- Successfully complete and pass a BCII & FBI check
JOB GOAL: To assist in the efficient and effective operation of the school office
REPORTS TO/EVALUATED BY: Building Principal
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all approved school and building policies and procedures.
- Assist the Secretary to perform usual office routines.
- Participate in on-going related in-service training programs.
- Assist the Secretary in maintaining student records, answering telephone, mail and maintaining messages.
- Assist with greeting all visitors courteously, determine their needs, check appointments and direct them to the proper person.
- Communicate effectively with building administrators, staff and parents.
- Maintain confidentiality of students.
- Assist with general office operations such as letters, reports, memos, supplies and purchase orders as needed.
- Help maintain a safe environment.
- Maintain attendance records and provide secretarial support to the Preschool Program if that program is within their building
- Any other duties assigned by the classroom teacher or building Principal.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- 190 Day Contract
- 3 ½ Hours Per Day
- 2025-2026 School Year
- Salary and benefits per LACE negotiated agreement.
