C-TEC of Licking County is looking to hire a High School Health Sciences Instructor at Newark High School.
Candidate should have the following:
- Ability to provide focused instruction in the areas of medical terminology, patient centered care, allied health, and pharmacology.
- Ideal candidate would be a registered nurse with at least 5 years experience and 2 years experience in long term care; train the trainer eligible. Preferred candidate would have experience as an RN in a long term care facility.
- Interest in working in a collaborative environment in a career center with strong emphasis on career and college readiness.
- Ability to integrate employability skills, leadership, communication, technology, and financial literacy into classroom instruction.
- Experience supporting hands-on, project-based learning and work-based learning, preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to both manage students and inspire students to learn, innovate, and create are essential.
- Career Technical Teaching License/Workforce Development license preferred or 5 years of work experience in a related technical field. Applicant may be required to take additional courses to earn required CTE endorsement.
