Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Admissions Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for engaging with prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process, and representing the college at various recruitment events.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively recruit prospective students through outreach, events, and presentations.
Assist applicants with enrollment procedures, including admissions requirements and financial aid guidance.
Represent the college at high schools, career fairs, and community events (travel required).
Utilize strong computer skills to maintain student records, manage communications, and track recruitment efforts.
Communicate effectively with prospective students, families, and colleagues to provide exceptional service.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting enrollment goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Minimum of associate degree required and two (2) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel as needed for recruitment efforts.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
