Job Description
Development Coordinator
The Midland Theatre seeks a Development Coordinator to be responsible for the duties involving administration of all development activities and communication with donors. This position works many evening and weekend shows and must be willing to have a flexible schedule.

Essential Functions:
·         Manage Annual Fund membership program
·         Identify, cultivate and secure corporate sponsorships
·         Coordinate tasks and timelines of direct mail pieces, including show announcements
·         Establish and manage development goals, calendar and timelines
·         Plan annual fundraising event(s)
·         Regularly update donor database and manage reporting
·         Conduct prospect research for new funding opportunities
·         Monitor and track organization's programs for grant reporting on budgets and progress towards program metrics
·         Manage ChoiceCRM ticketing, fundraising and volunteer software
·         Assist other staff with general office staffing and office duties, such as receiving visitors, answering phone calls, event management, and more

General Requirements:
·         2-5 years of experience in development and/or fundraising
·         Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented self-starter who is personable and has outstanding written and verbal communication skills
·         Must have the ability to multi-task and adjust to seasonal or event-related fluctuations in workload
·         Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required
·         He or she must have an ability and willingness to interact with the public

This is a full-time exempt salary position (40+ hours per week) that requires periodic evening and weekend work. Other responsibilities may be required by the Board of Directors or Executive Director to fulfill the mission and goals of our organization.
