Pathways of Central Ohio seeks a dynamic professional to join its Fiscal Department as Fiscal Assistant.  Pathways’ vision is to offer its employees a career with purpose.  The Pathways Fiscal Assistant helps to support the good work done by our agency. Established in 1968, Pathways is a not-for-profit social service organization serving 13 counties in Central and Southeast Ohio. Pathways has three program areas: the 211/Crisis Hotline, the Center for Prevention Services, and the Parent Education Center.

Job Description
The Fiscal Assistant is a full-time employee and is responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations (Accounts Receivables, Account Payables, Payroll and Employee Benefits), for purchasing supplies for the agency and assisting the Fiscal Director with grant management. The Fiscal Assistant also performs human resource functions including assisting with employee orientations, maintaining personnel files, and managing employee health and life insurance plans. Qualifications

  • BBA or business associate degree with 3 years related experience in accounting preferably in a non-profit environment.
  • Payroll experience preferred.
  • Sage 50 Accounting experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, a must
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
