POSITION TITLE: Commercial Portfolio Manager/Office Manager I
REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending
LOCATION: Pataskala Business Banking Center
STATUS: Non-Exempt/ Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY: The Portfolio Manager I supports the Commercial Lending team by managing a portfolio of commercial loans and deposits, ensuring credit quality and compliance are adhered to. This individual would be expected to assist with the management and receipt of financial tracking, loan maturity processing, and delinquent loan processing. This role involves underwriting support, monitoring of financial performance, and working closely with Commercial Lenders, Credit staff, and the loan operations department. The Portfolio Manager will also assist in customer calls, document preparation, and relationship management efforts.
- Facilitate preparation of credit underwriting and analysis of new and existing loans in connection with originations, renewals, and modifications; assists in facilitating closing of transactions.
- Monitor loans through various reports to ensure covenant compliance and financial reporting are accurate.
- Assist Commercial Lenders by reviewing, recommending, and modeling appropriate loan structures for new and existing loan relationships.
- Assist Commercial Lenders in managing past due and maturing loans.
- Assist Commercial Lenders in clearing missing items and documenting loan exceptions.
- Works with the Credit Department to coordinate scheduling of loan prescreen meetings.
- Coordinate execution of loan documents and works closely with the Loan Processor.
- Actively participate in research, preparation, and execution of customer calls with Commercial Lender.
- Assist with construction of term sheets for final review, release, and negotiation by Commercial Lender to client.
- Assist Treasury Services as needed, with commercial client relationships.
- Participate in special projects related to the commercial lending platform as assigned.
- Be well-organized and efficient and manage multiple tasks accurately and proficiently.
- Represent the bank at community events as requested.
- Understand and comply with the loan policies and procedures and make recommended updates as necessary.

- Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred minimum two-year advanced educations (associate degree)
- 3-7 Years of banking experience or training
- Strong technical skills
- Other Skills:

- Must possess excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to react to stressful situations with professionalism while remaining calm.
