ManagING EMPLOYEE Leaves of Absence
The ADA and FMLA have both been around for more than 20 years yet these two laws continue to create challenges for employers who must manage employee health issues. Employers must effectively manage complex employee health issues while guarding against abuses. At our October HRMA meeting, we will go beyond ADA and FMLA basics and focus on best practices for managing health-based leaves of absences, including those that arise out of workplace injuries or workers’ compensation claims, managing light duty or transitional work programs, and requests for accommodation under the ADA.

Program begins at 12:00 noon

Reservations must be made no later than the Friday before the meeting.
