Join us for the highly anticipated 69th Annual Groundhog Breakfast, back again this year at Adena Hall on the campus of Ohio State at Newark/COTC. Attendees will enjoy a delicious breakfast, a live economic forecast and presentation of the John Alford Community Service Award.
This year's keynote address will be presented by David Brown, the visionary founder and creative director of the Harmony Project. The Harmony Project is much more than a choir—it’s a movement that unites people from all walks of life through the shared power of music and community service. David leads this incredible organization with the belief that real change happens when people come together to make a difference. Through Harmony Project, he’s created a platform where artistic passion intersects with social purpose, and no one auditions to be part of the ensemble. Instead, participants earn their place by volunteering and serving their communities.
Under David’s leadership, Harmony Project reaches across cultural, economic, and social divides, bringing accessible arts and education programs to schools, shelters, and even prisons. With over 1,000 members generating 60,000 volunteer hours annually, their impact stretches far beyond the stage, touching countless lives throughout Columbus. David’s message is simple but powerful: by working together, we can create harmony both in music and in our communities. Don’t miss the chance to hear from a leader who is driving real change!
Doors open at 5:30am; breakfast lines open at 6:00am.
In the rare occasion of a Level 2 snow emergency, the event will be presented virtually at a future date and time.
